Secret Ingredient for the Best Home Inspection Every Time.

As a home inspector, I sometimes think to myself “How would I want my inspector to inspect this home for me?” Just like you, I would want my inspector to be thoughtful, catching all the important details, examining my home carefully from top to bottom, and providing me with a thorough report that captures all the concerns observed. So, what is the ingredient necessary for this thorough, detailed, and careful inspection? That critical ingredient is TIME!

No Substitute for Time

Although we live in a time-conscious age, there is no substitute for taking the time needed to provide a quality product. While I realize that time management is important, I’ve heard of home inspectors that regularly inspect up to three homes in a day. I don’t think I would want to be that third inspection. Why not? Performing a great home inspection is mentally and physically exhausting. There are numerous systems and components in a home that have to be examined carefully. When issues are discovered, the home inspector must be able to connect the dots and offer helpful recommendations. There are roofs to climb, attics to navigate, decks and underfloor areas to crawl. I’ll take a fresh inspector any day for that job!

Time Well Spent

No one can convince me that a hurried inspection process doesn’t miss important details. It is a simple fact that the most thorough home inspections are those conducted with care, taking time to carefully analyze the home’s condition. Rushing through an inspection can lead to overlooked issues that cost big down the road, such as water damage, structural, or foundational issues. When I take my time on inspections, I never hear complaints from my customers! I spend hours on their home inspection and hours more compiling a great report for them. They are always thankful for the time that I spend carefully examining their major purchase. It is that necessary time that allows me to properly assess each system of their home from the roof to the foundation and deliver a great product! Ultimately, my goal is to ensure no important detail is missed and that I provide my customers with a clear, comprehensive report on their potential investment. I look forward to inspecting your home or someone you know with this same level of care!
